It has been alleged that Hive, the parent company of New Jeans agency Adore, interfered with the wearing of memorial ribbons by New Jeans members during the Jeju Air disaster in December last year.

According to the hearing data submitted by New Jeans member legal representative Sejong on the 7th on the date of interrogation on the prohibition of New Jeans' activities, the members tried to perform wearing memorial ribbons at the 66th Record Grand Prize held in Japan on December 30 last year, the day after the Jeju Air disaster, but the agency's official dissuaded it.

The members said, "'If you wear a commemorative ribbon, the broadcasting station will be paralyzed due to a flood of phone calls from Japanese viewers, causing a broadcasting accident.'" The members tried to wear the ribbon after receiving a reply from a Japanese broadcasting station saying there was no problem, but Hive did not save the ribbon.
