Park Hyung-sik, who has a different dimension, is back.

Park Hyung-sik played the role of ambitious Seo Dong-ju in SBS' Friday-Saturday drama `Treasure Island.' Seo Dong-ju is betrayed by his beloved lover Yeo Eun-nam (Hong Hwa-yeon), and his life is threatened by Heo Jun-ho, a former prosecutor general who seeks control of the group.

The sixth episode, which aired on the 8th, depicted Seo Dong-ju being tortured in a closed space. Seo Dong-ju, who was kidnapped due to a scheme by Yeom Jang-seon to dig up the password of the 2 trillion won account, was roughly submerged in the water with his hands tied. However, Seo Dong-ju sought a chance to counterattack even in the clouding consciousness, and succeeded in overpowering the giant man after a fierce struggle.

However, in the end, Yeom Jang-seon, who was malicious, killed his sister, Sister Añez (Han Ji-hye), in front of Seo Dong-ju's eyes, and Seo Dong-ju, who witnessed her sister's car accident, was shocked and found her memory.

Park Hyung-sik realistically embodied Seo Dong-ju, who crosses the boundaries of despair, pain, and life and death. From psychological warfare and confrontation with Heo Jun-ho, and his mournful emotional performance with Hong Hwa-yeon to love and hatred, he has firmly established the center of the play by playing a dramatic emotional line as well as survival actions.

Park Hyung-sik debuted as the children of the empire and was loved as the 'Baby Soldier' through MBC 'Real Men'. Since then, he has made a mark with cute and lovely characters in 'What's wrong with the family?' and 'Upward Society'. However, Park Hyung-sik's transformation and challenge continued. He played the role of Sammaekjong in 'Hwarang' and performed charismatic black-ish acting, and rose to the rank of 'national boyfriend' with his romance chemistry with Park Bo-young in 'Strong Woman Dobong-soon'. In 'Suits' and 'Happyness', he tried to transform himself into intellectual charisma and action. And this time, he proved his growth as an actor with another acting challenge beyond Park Hyung-sik so far.

Thanks to Park Hyung-sik's enthusiastic performance, 'Treasure Island' broke its own record of highest ratings with 11.2% nationwide (based on Nielsen Korea). This is up 3%P from the previous session, ranking first in all channels, Saturday miniseries, and weekly miniseries at the same time. It's just that the ratings have begun to skyrocket. In addition, viewership in the Seoul metropolitan area soared to 11% and the highest instantaneous viewership to 12.3%. The 2049 ratings also represented 2.9%, demonstrating the popularity of 'Treasure Island'.
