Earlier on the 26th of last month (local time), Gene Hackman and his wife Betsy Arakawa (64), along with their dogs, were found dead at their home in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Hackman won the Oscar for Best Actor for the film 'French Connection' and the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for 'The Unforgiven'.
