"I was so heartbroken to hear the news of people suffering from earthquakes in Thailand and Myanmar," Minnie said. "I felt more special, especially because Thailand is my hometown."
"I decided to donate because I wanted to add even a little strength to it. I desperately hope that the affected areas will be restored as soon as possible and that the victims will return to their safe daily lives."
Chairman of the Korean Red Cross Kim Cheol-soo said, `Minnie's warm heart will be a great help to the people in the affected area"I will deliver the donation promptly and transparently where necessary" he said.
The Korean Red Cross will use Minnie's donations to help recover from the earthquake in Myanmar and Thailand. Specifically, it plans to be used for food, medical supplies, and temporary residence support for victims.
