Park Ji-hoon met with Sports Chosun at a cafe in Jongno-gu, Seoul on the morning of the 28th and interviewed the Netflix series 'Weak Hero Class2' (played by Park Hyun-woo and directed by Yoo Soo-min). Park Ji-hoon said, `Yeon Si-eun is more affectionate than other characters. There is a friendlier, pathetic and sad feeling. I also wanted to tell more of Si-eun's story, as director (Yoo) Su-min said. So it was so nice to film Class 2, and I enjoyed watching it because I liked how Si-eun made friends well and smiled at the end."
Park Ji-hoon then said "I saw the finished version as a group, and I cried then, too. There was (Lee) Jun-young next to me, and for some reason, the lingering feeling remained for a long time, and when I saw the last scene, I thought only one thing, and I thought 'and that we ran after seeing this real thing. It occurred to me that not only the actors, but also the director, the staff who were at the scene, and the production company eventually ran with one goal to see this appearance of Si-eun. The memories of Class 1 and the memories of Class 2 and the scenes taken on that hot day and cold day passing by like a beacon while wearing an action scene and sweating and crying on the spot.
Park Ji-hoon said, `I lost my friend in Class 1, so I wanted to show my accumulated emotions. In Class 2, I also felt that the hawk house became stronger and better at fighting. Can't it be linked to Class 1 to create a fighting style or feelings for Si-eun. When I studied and studied such things, I felt like I was fighting against evil rather than class 1. I didn't just want to end the fight, I wanted to put the feeling of 'Please stop this boring thing'. If there is a difference, you will fight well and you will have a pattern of attacking using the opponent's things. I thought it was mysterious.'
However, some said that the action scene may have weakened. Another reason is that there are more scenes that fit the defensive type, compared to Yeon Si-eun's aggressive type in the play. Park Ji-hoon said, "(The combat power has declined) You can think of it like that. It wasn't because of his affection for this friend that he saved Seo Joon-tae (Choi Min-young), who was suitable for Choi Hyo-man (Yoo Soo-bin). Even after you transferred to Eunjango, you didn't hit Hyo-man. When I saw that, I thought, "Why aren't you doing action?"I think you might have doubts about ', but I don't think Si-eun is a fight-loving character. He fought to protect his friends, and he couldn't keep it, so he transferred to the school and fought over the trauma again. So, you might think it's a shame because it's a character that fights hard, but I thought it would be better if you focused on your friend's story rather than action."
Accordingly, the narrative with friends and Yeon Si-eun's emotional line acted as a bigger factor in Class 2. Park Ji-hoon said "The difficulties compared to Class 1 were to express 'Let's end the fight'." There are villains around Si-eun who couldn't protect her friend and eventually left. As it overlaps and overlaps, there is a scene where she shouts and takes a leg while fighting against Na Baek-jin (Bae Nara), and while watching that, Si-eun tried to express her desire to end it now.
Park Ji-hoon then said "What I was grateful for was that he was so angry that he made me feel like the blood on my body was cold." Since Si-eun is a cold and blunt character, she often did not know that her facial muscles trembled while acting. But as I watched the monitor, I thought 'I'm really immersed in it. It's not that I did well or I didn't do well, but I was surprised to see that my character was well expressed in the frame.
"Weak Hero 2" ends with Yeon Si-eun smiling face to face with Ahn Soo-ho (Choi Hyun-wook) who woke up from a long sleep, raising expectations for Class 3. Park Ji-hoon responded, "'I also liked it because it was such a complex emotion while watching the ending. 'Is it finally over?It occurred to me that ' I was so comforted and happy that I thought Si-eun came running for this appearance. The moment I cried because I was so comfortable and happy that I thought it would open up the possibility for Class 3 if you liked Class 2 a lot. When I was alone, I thought to myself that if I did Class 3, I would be able to make a story of growth as a third grader in high school and an adult. I thought it would be fun for high school students to get together and solve the case against adults."
"Weak Hero 2" depicts a desperate survival period and brilliant growth story of Yeon Si-eun, a model student who confronted violence for her friend but transferred to Eunjango with trauma she could not keep, as she could never lose her friend again. Park Ji-hoon played Yeon Si-eun again following season 1, raising viewers' visibility with a multi-layered character who fights to break up the fight.
According to FlixPatrol, a global platform ranking website, the Netflix series 'Weak Hero Class2' (played by Park Hyun-woo and directed by Yoo Soo-min) that was released on the 25th ranked second globally. 'Weak Hero2' topped the list in various continental countries, including Mexico, Morocco, Peru, Qatar, Venezuela, Chile, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, and Japan, and ranked first in a total of 32 countries and third in the United States.
