Regarding his decision to appear in "The Plaza", So Ji-seop introduced 'Noir Action with a very strong smell of men'. What kind of person did he want Nam Ki-jun to look like? "The standard is a steel person in the original. unlikely to lose to anyone. I wanted to feel the desperation from those standards. That's what I thought the most about with the director. Of course, I'm not a good standard person, but on the other hand, I wanted to feel sorry for him. As the story progressed, I wanted the viewers to notice that Ki-jun was also a hurtful person."
So Ji-seop said, "As an actor and an audience, we have different tastes in choosing works." I wondered what kind of work he would prefer as an actor, who picked "Romeo and Juliet" as his life movie. "When I act, I like works with a heavy atmosphere like "The Square." People who don't have a lot of emotional ups and downs, I prefer acting with eyes rather than words. The acting that I want to do and the acting that others want to see are different. I like actor So Ji-sub, so those who watch it prefer romantic comedies. I'm often asked when I'm going to do a romantic comedy. I'm sure all jobs are like that, but there's a distance between what I want to try and what I can be recognized for."
So Ji-seop also shared his thoughts on what he thought was a `good actor.' "I think a good actor is an actor who is healthy in body and mind, who does his best at his job and does not regret it. I believe that the fastest way to become a good actor is to become a good person. Regardless of whether you are good at acting or not, you should have a healthy attitude toward acting. That way, you won't be late, you'll do your best, and you won't regret it."
