According to Starship Entertainment, Yoo Yeon-jung's agency, Yoo Yeon-jung was cast as Memoria in the musical 『Frida" which will be performed at Interpark Uniflex Hall 1 in Seoul from June 17 to September 7.
'Frida' is a show musical about Frida Kahlo's last life in a framed form, which did not lose the joy of art and life even in the pain after an accident. Not only has it been recognized for its workability by selling out all seats from the 2022 premiere, but it has also continued to be popular in the 2023 reenactment, and in the third season of this year, actors and audiences are expected to share hot energy and messages of passion and healing for life through closer breathing.
Yoo Yeon-jung played the role of the crew 'Memoria', playing another Frida in parallel with Frida's childhood. It plans to create more attractive and colorful memory characters through its unique emotional and soft tone and delicate expression.
Yoo Yeon-jung, who took her first step as a musical actor with the musical 'Lizzy' in 2022, made a strong impression by transforming into Alice Russell with excellent immersion, and later showed acting spectra regardless of genre, including musicals 'Crash Landing of Love', 'Aloha, My Moms' and 'Great Comet'.
