Lee Jae-wook met with Sports Chosun at a cafe in Jongno-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of the 19th and interviewed the original Netflix series 'Tanggeum' (played by Kim Jin-ah, directed by Kim Hong-sun). When Lee Jae-wook looked into the script, he thought he wanted to make his first impression, and sometimes those things fit well. Officials, fans, and viewers seem to like it, and I always say it in interviews, but I think I'm lucky. There is also a sense of appreciation for being able to continue to appear just by auditioning and being casted and playing the lead role. Since my major is theater and film, I have so many friends who are as good as me, but I think I always work with gratitude."
Lee Jae-wook then said "I was a person who felt a lot of skepticism while working here. Wow, what can I do in such a place where there are so many cool, handsome, and handsome people? I was curious about it, and the only answer that came back each time was to work hard in the current situation. I'm thinking about what I can do a little more acting. I'm thinking that it would be nice to see something like that."
Also "I'm surprised every time I go to the awards ceremony. He's all grown up and handsome. I don't think it's exceptional, and I can say that being tall is an advantage, but these days, there are a lot of tall actors and seniors and all the younger brothers are grown, so this doesn't seem to come as a big advantage. I'm grateful to my mother."
Released on the 16th, Tanggeum is a mystery melodrama that depicts an unknown feeling between the two, with Hong Rang, the son of the top Joseon Dynasty, who went missing, returning after 12 years without memory, and only his half-sister Jay-man doubting his true identity. Lee Jae-wook played Hong Rang in the play and was praised for his various performances ranging from action to emotion.
