Rapper Sik-K's drug case is dealt with in the appeal trial.

The prosecution filed an appeal against the first trial's ruling that sentenced Sik-K to suspended prison sentences.

SickK is accused of administering ketamine and ecstasy on October 1-9, 2023. He is also accused of smoking hemp on January 11 last year and possessing it on January 13.

Sik-K turned himself in to the police working near the Seoul Regional Veterans Affairs Office in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, on the morning of January 19, 2024. Later, during the police investigation stage, a positive test was made for methamphetamine.

Prosecutors say the defendant is a famous rapper who is widely known to the public and has a lot of influence over teenagers. Although he has to bear a heavier moral responsibility than others, he demanded a three-and-a-half-year prison term, saying, "The nature of the crime is not good, such as recidivism during the probation period for the same drug crimes in the past."

Sikkay "I've never felt so ashamed in my nearly 30 years. Criminals, don't want to remain pathetic people who can't control themselves. I'm really deeply reflecting on myself. If you give me a chance to repay my hurtful family and company, I will regret it for the rest of my life." Sik-K's lawyer also appealed for leniency, asking for consideration of the fact that he turned himself in.

The Seoul Western District Court's Criminal Chamber 7 (Chief Judge Ma Sung-young) sentenced Sik-K to 10 months in prison and two years of probation on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act (cannabis).
