Jungkook and Jimin, the group BTS, reported their discharge from the military.

Jimin and Jungkook were discharged from the military on the 11th after completing their military service. The two joined the Army as active duty in December 2023 and completed their duty of defense in the Artillery Brigade of the Army's 5th Division.

Jimin and Jungkook immediately moved to Hive's office building in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, and conducted a live broadcast after the discharge ceremony. Hundreds of ARMYs (official fan clubs in BTS) gathered in front of the Hive headquarters to celebrate their discharge from the military.

When I entered the training center, I was in a state of disarray. Time really didn't go by. The two of them lay down in the living room and asked why a week feels like a month. Jimin knew he had to go " (to the army), but he didn't want to go. I went to the duty, but it wasn't really easy. (The military) is a place where only bad words keep coming out of your mouth. I joined the army together because I wanted to be with Jungkook, but who knew if I would go to the front line. Everyone looked at me plaintively."




Then "I'm so grateful to ARMY for waiting. When I was sick, I had a drink with the members on vacation. I thought V was retiring then. I was surprised that my body got bigger, but when I was discharged yesterday (10th), I came back to my body shape. I thought I was on a strong diet. I also gained 10kg after I joined the army. I'm on a diet, and there's a little left, but it won't take long."

In BTS, Jin and J-Hope were discharged from the military last year, followed by RM and V returning to the fans on the 10th. Suga, who is serving as an alternative social service worker, will be released from the call-up on the 21st.
