BLACKPINK Begins Filming New Music Video Ahead of Long-Awaited Comeback After 2 Years and 8 Months

Over the weekend, Black Pink's new music video shooting was spotted somewhere in Seoul, and their full comeback was imminent, raising expectations from music fans around the world.

On the 9th, YG Entertainment officially announced for the first time that Black Pink had started filming a music video for a new song from the 6th. As Yang Hyun-seok, the executive producer, promised earlier that he would release the news of BLACKPINK's new song soon, it was confirmed that preparations for the comeback as a whole were going smoothly.

Music fans around the world are paying keen attention to the news of the new song's release in about two years and eight months. Specific information such as the schedule, the title of the new song, and the concept is still under wraps, but as the music video shooting begins in earnest, it is possible to guess that Black Pink's comeback is imminent.

YG said "We are filming in Korea with a famous overseas director. This will give rise to another iconic music video that focuses on Black Pink's identity and musical color,' he said. `You can look forward to it as it is a special collaboration worthy of Black Pink's status as the world's top artist.'

Blackpink has left a monumental mark on K-pop history, breaking new records for each song they release. Above all, their impact is getting stronger day by day, regardless of team and solo, so the music to be presented through this comeback and a new history to be written through it are also expected.

Meanwhile, starting with the Goyang performance in July, Blackpink will go on its 31st world tour in a total of 16 cities. They are expected to solidify the presence of world's top artists by embroidering stadium-level venues around the world, including Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, New York, Paris, Milan, Barcelona, London, Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Jakarta, Bulacan, Singapore, Tokyo, and Hong Kong.
