On the morning of the 11th, Jimin and Jungkook held a discharge ceremony at Yeoncheon Public Stadium in Yeoncheon-gun, Gyeonggi-do. Jimin and Jungkook joined the Army as active duty in December 2023 and served in the Army's 5th Division Artillery Brigade. Jungkook, who usually showed off his extraordinary cooking skills, drew attention when he was reported to be serving as a cook (cooking soldier).
Reporters and hundreds of ARMYs (BTS fan clubs) gathered at the site to welcome the two back.
Jungkook "I'm embarrassed because it's been such a long time in front of the camera. I don't know what to say.""Senior executives, successors, colleagues, and executives who are struggling more than anyone else, worked really hard to live with us." Thank you for taking good care of me," he said.
Jimin "Thank you for coming to see us from afar. ARMYs, it's been quite a long time from Corona to the military, thank you for waiting. Since I've been discharged from the military, I think we can just draw the picture we've been drawing in the future. I'll prepare better and show you."
Then "The army was actually the first, but it wasn't easy. I've never come in as a pushover, but it wasn't hard and easy. I've heard a lot about it while struggling together. I will hold the grateful memories in my heart and cherish them for a long time. If I dare to tell the people, it was not easy when I came to the army. There are so many people who are suffering. If you don't mind, please say something to the soldiers," he added.
In BTS, Jin and J-Hope were discharged from the military last year, followed by RM and V returning to the fans on the 10th. Suga, who is serving as an alternative social service worker, will be released from the call-up on the 21st.
