good deeds continue...Song Hye-kyo delivers a booklet containing the history of comfort women and forced labor

Actor Song Hye-kyo impressed with another quiet good deed.

To mark the 80th anniversary of liberation this year, Song Hye-kyo donated 10,000 copies of Korean history guides to Saipan and Tinian areas with Professor Seo Kyung-deok of Sungshin Women's University. The guidebook is made in Korean and English and is placed at Saipan World Resort Reception, which is frequently visited by Korean tourists, so anyone can easily see it.

The booklet vividly contains unknown sites such as the history of forced conscription of Koreans in Saipan and Tinian, caves with traces of victims of Japanese Military Sexual Slavery, the site of an atomic bomb dump, and monuments to Koreans.

Professor Seo Kyung-deok emphasized that "the preservation of historical relics left abroad is not very good" and that "continuous interest and visits are the greatest power to protect them". Even if it is difficult to visit the site, you can download the original file of the guide from the website 'Our History Story We Met Abroad'.

This donation is the first project to celebrate the 80th anniversary of liberation, and two additional projects will be carried out in the second half of the year.

For the past 14 years, Song Hye-kyo and Seo have donated Korean guidebooks, Korean signboards, and assistance works by independence activists to 38 places around the world.
