Kang Daniel Unveils 6th Mini Album ‘Glow to Haze’ Ahead of Military Enlistment

On the 16th, a press conference was held at Park One Tower 2, Yeouido-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul to commemorate the release of Kang Daniel's 6th mini album 'Glow to Haze'. Kang Daniel's comeback is the first time in more than nine months since 'Act' announced last year.
Kang Daniel said, `I'm nervous because I participated in producing a lot and melted the music direction and message I'm pursuing in this album, unlike what I've shown as a singer. I slept for about 3 hours and came out. I hope you like it" he said.

Kang Daniel says "'Glow to Haze' is a organized version of the direct word I was trying to express. It contains a gradation-like story that connects from one emotion to one emotion, an expression of love fading away from light. "It's my new chapter. Musically, I don't do much post-work tunes from this album, so my voice itself can sound husky and dry. It seemed that the merits of my voice were rather tarnished because I had to clean it up too much through the post-production. Changes that fans will notice immediately."

Kang Daniel said, `I had the opportunity to compose a song before, and I felt like I was going crazy because of the stress. So I avoided composing, but I thought it was a good way to express my story and my emotions. As I sang and showed a lot of various songs, I thought about writing a new song. There are many expressions that cannot come out of the lyrics. I don't have a lot of work to do due to my job, but I couldn't write the song I was originally going to write due to my adult circumstances, so I felt the tightness of checking the time when I made the song in three days. It was a fun and interesting feeling."
The title song 'Episode' is an R&B song that unravels the excitement of loving love with a Latin rhythm.
Kang Daniel is an episode that expresses the image of me when I love the hottest and the image of me when I love. As soon as I first heard it, I was completely hooked because there were many different elements. I thought I could express well as a solo artist such as Mumbaton drum and European-fian-inspired verse. I wanted to promote a performance-oriented song"I was confident.

Regarding his past activities, he said, `Some are not satisfied with themselves, and there are also regrets that it would have been better to do this on stage.' I want to show you the data and contents that I have accumulated. I don't want to limit myself to genre. I want to say hello with music that can express my strengths, performance, and my own identity that anyone can see is Kang Daniel's voice," he said.

Kang Daniel said "There are many things I want to show you. You don't have a limit??I want to work harder on the door and say hello to you with good work" he said.
Then "The enlistment was decided in the second half of this year. I was going to go earlier, but I wanted to show you the most meaningful activities," he added.
