Ju Hak-nyeon, who withdrew from the group THE BOYZ due to privacy controversy, expressed his position himself.

Joo Hak-nyeon wrote on his account on the 19th, "'I'm sorry to have caused you a lot of anxiety about the fans and everyone that must have been very surprised," he wrote in a handwritten apology.

Ju Hak-nyeon explained, "'I attended a drinking party with an acquaintance in the early morning of May 30th and was there, but it was not at all that I engaged in prostitution or any illegal activities in articles or rumors.'"




He said "I deeply reflect on my actions and would like to express my sincere apology to anyone who might have been surprised," he added.

Ju Hak-nyeon has recently been at the center of controversy after it was revealed that he had a private meeting in Tokyo with Asuka Kirara, a former Japanese AV (adult video) actor.

Japan's weekly Moonchun released a picture of paparazzi, saying Ju Hak-nyeon had a drinking party with Asuka Kirara. According to this, Ju Hak-nyeon hugged Asuka, and Asuka touched him by putting his chin on Ju Hak-nyeon's shoulder.




Due to this incident, Ju Hak-nyeon suspended his activities on the 16th and withdrew from THE BOYZ on the 18th. He also terminated his exclusive contract with his agency, One Hundred.
