Oh Jung-se Stuns with Dual Transformations in ‘Good Boy’ and ‘Hi-Five’

Actor Oh Jung-se is showing an overwhelming acting transformation across screens and small screens.

First of all, Oh Jung-se in JTBC's Saturday-Sunday drama 'Good Boy' is a seemingly public official at the Korea Customs Service, but in reality, he is acting as an absolute evil democracy who does everything he can to maintain power. His cynical eyes, expressionless face, and restrained tone create cool tension, and the madness and runaway revealed over and over again are raising the immersion of the small screen.

'Good Boy' broke its own high in the 6th episode, recording a 6.2% viewership rating based on Nielsen Korea's nationwide paid households. At the same time, it has solidified its position as a hot topic for three consecutive weeks in the TV-OTT integrated drama hot topic ranking based on Good Data Corporation Fundex.

On the other hand, in the film 'High Five', Oh Jung-se added a pleasant warmth to the decomposition play with 'Daughterbaragi' Jong-min, who takes very care of his daughter who received a heart transplant. Director Kang Hyung-chul's directing skills and unique characters are combined with High Five, which has been at the top of the box office for 17 consecutive days as it entered its third week of release, and has continued to hit the box office with a cumulative audience of more than 1.5 million.

In the play, Jong-min is a devoted father who puts his daughter Wan-seo (Lee Jae-in) first in every crisis, and Oh Jung-se's unique realistic life performance and sincere expression instilled warm persuasion in the play.

Oh Jung-se, who showed a completely different face even in the extreme characters. From realistic and warm daughter fools to cold-blooded powerful people, he is leading both works strongly with his acting skills.

Meanwhile, 'Good Boy' starring Oh Jung-se will air every Saturday at 10:40 p.m. and Sunday at 10:30 p.m., while the movie 'High Five' is being screened at theaters nationwide.
