The fact that actors Park So-dam and Park Won-sook are related to their sixth cousins is drawing attention again.

Park Won-sook is a cousin of Park So-dam's grandfather, and Park So-dam is the granddaughter of Park Won-sook's cousin's brother. In general, the sixth cousin is considered a fairly distant relative, but Park Won-sook is said to care for and take care of Park So-dam like her nephew.

Their family relationship was first known in 2019, but it has recently been talked about again and is drawing attention. In particular, it is said that the two did not want this fact to be disclosed in the first place. They appeared together in the 2015 film 'The Throne', but there is also a story that they acted while hiding their relationship at the scene.

Some interpret that the two did not intentionally reveal their relationship because they were worried that Park So-dam, a new actor at the time, would be seen as growing up thanks to Park Won-sook.

Nevertheless, Park Won-sook is known to have served as a strong mentor by giving generous advice to Park So-dam on her choice of work and the direction of acting.

In addition to his relationship with Park So-dam, Park Won-sook's family history is already well known to the public. After three marriages and divorces, Park Won-sook left her son from her first marriage in a tragic car accident in 2003, and lost contact with her granddaughter due to her daughter-in-law's remarriage.

Since then, Park Won-sook has revealed her reunion with her biological granddaughter through the KBS2 entertainment program 「Park Won-sook's Let's Live Together」. Park Won-sook, who contacted her granddaughter again when she became a first grader in high school, tearfully said, `Thank you so much for growing up beautifully,' preparing food for her granddaughter on the broadcast. At that time, he "I want to do everything to my granddaughter as much as I couldn't do it to my son. That's what I want to do," he said, expressing his affection.

After debuting in the 2013 film `No More, No Less', Park So-dam drew attention by appearing in a number of films, including 'Yinggui', 'Madam Pengduk', 'Kyungseong School: The Missing Girls', 'Veteran', 'The Throne', and 'Black Priests'. In particular, he made his name worldwide in Bong Joon-ho's 2019 film Parasite.
