Seo Kyung-duk and Song Hye-kyo Donate 10,000 Korean History Guides to Saipan and Tinian

On the 80th anniversary of liberation this year, Sungshin Women's University Professor Seo Kyung-duk and actress Song Hye-kyo joined forces to donate 10,000 copies of Saipan and Tinian's Korean history guide.

The guide was produced in Korean and English, and donated to Saipan World Resort, which is frequently visited by Koreans, and is kept at the reception.

The main content of the guide is from Saipan and Tinyan??It introduces in detail the forced conscription of Koreans, the memorial monument for Koreans, the Japanese Military Sexual Slavery cave of the Japanese military, and the site of the atomic bomb loading site.

Professor Seo said "The preservation situation of Korean historical sites remaining overseas is not very good."

However, he stressed that "The continued interest and visits of our people will be the greatest force to preserve the remaining Korean historical sites overseas."

In particular, if it is difficult to visit the site, you can download and use the original file from the website 'Our History Story We Met Abroad'.

This is the first project to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Korea's liberation. In the future, they will carry out two more projects this year.

For the past 14 years, under the sponsorship of Seo Kyung-deok and Song Hye-gyo, Korean guidebooks, Korean signboards, and independence activist assistance works have been donated to 38 Korean historical sites remaining overseas.
