Suga’s Discharge Marks End of BTS’s Military Hiatus

The group BTS's military white flag is finally over.

After working on the 18th, Suga finished working as a social service worker by exhausting all the remaining annual leave. Suga, who began his alternative service as a social service worker in September 2023, was released on the 21st, but he finished his service earlier.

BTS Jin and J-Hope were discharged last year, RM and V were discharged on the 10th, and Jungkook and Jimin were discharged on the 11th. As a result, BTS ended its two-and-a-half-year military revolt.

BTS begins preparations for its full comeback. They drew attention on the 13th when Jin and Jungkook appeared as guests at the 「J-Hope Tour Hop on the Stage Final" held at Goyang Stadium in Ilsanseo-gu, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, and all other members cheered in the audience.

BTS is truly a living myth of K-pop. He has written countless records that have not been in K-pop history, including the conquest of Billboard, the all-kill of the three major US music awards, and a speech at the UN General Assembly. In general, solo or unit activities have less firepower than full-body activities, but BTS was the exception. The solo album released by the members hit the Billboard charts, drawing great attention.

The comeback of such a BTS is shaking the world beyond the music industry. In fact, Hive's market capitalization jumped from 8.1491 trillion won in early January to 12.49 trillion won as of the close of the 19th.

The BTS have always communicated with their fans with albums that tell their true stories. Expectations are high on how those who have time to recharge themselves through the military white flag will solve their musical and human growth and maturity.
