Um Tae-woong returns after 9 years of privacy controversy...♥ The time we endured in the long wait, it's like a miracle

Actor Eom Tae-woong is returning to the small screen after 9 years. After a long silence and self-reflection, his wife Yoon Hye-jin's sincere writing toward him is drawing attention.

On the 21st, Yoon Hye-jin left a lengthy post on her SNS, announcing that her husband Eom Tae-woong's return film 'I Kill You' was selected as an invitation to the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFAN).

Yoon Hye-jin "I've watched the times I've endured quietly and firmly. I spent more than a decade expecting and giving up on such a day," he said, revealing the weight of the long wait.

Especially "GV screening date is my mom's birthday this year. It may be a coincidence, but for some reason, I think my mother is protecting me.', adding the meaning of the family involved with the news of his return, creating a deep resonance.

Eom Tae-woong meets with viewers again through the drama `I Kill You' directed by Yuha. The work was produced in two versions: drama and movie, and the film version will be released first at the Bucheon International Film Festival on July 9, and the drama version will be officially released on Coupang Play from July 22.

I Kill You is a story of a young man who went to the media on behalf of the granddaughter of a large company president who was caught up in a drunk hit-and-run incident, heralding an intense narrative in which social messages and suspense are harmonized.

Meanwhile, Um Tae-woong suspended his activities in 2016 due to unsavory issues, and has since gone through a long period of self-reflection. At that time, the suspicion of sexual assault was revealed to be false, but he was summarily indicted on prostitution charges and fined 1 million won.

He married Yoon Hye-jin, a former ballerina, in 2013 and has one daughter.
