On the 23rd, Judge Kim Min-jung of the Seoul Western District Court sentenced Kim, who was indicted on charges of building intrusion and theft, to a fine of 10 million won.
The court said "Kim repeatedly broke into the building and stole things. I even took pictures of the inside without consent and posted them on the InternetEven so, "Since the accommodation was no longer inhabited by celebrities at the time, there is low concern that it will lead to direct invasion of privacy and the amount of damage is minor. Kim has acknowledged and reflected on the crime since the investigation stage and has no history of punishment, he said.
Kim is accused of breaking into New Jeans' accommodation in Yongsan-gu, Seoul in December last year and stealing hangers and placards. However, when Kim broke in, the members of New Jeans notified their agency Adore of the termination of the contract and left their accommodation.
In November last year, Newzins declared its independent activities, saying its exclusive contract with Adore was terminated. Audor filed an application for a provisional injunction against a lawsuit to confirm the validity of an exclusive contract, preserving the status of an agency, and signing an advertising contract. The court accepted all of Odor's applications for provisional injunction. As a result, Newzins was blocked from independent activities. Newzins plans to declare the suspension of its activities and claim the invalidity of the contract itself in the main lawsuit.
