Major Japanese sports newspapers made headlines for BTS Jin.
Japan's five major sports newspapers, Sports Nippon, Daily Sports, Daily Sports, Sports Hochi, and Sankei Sports, devoted one page to the 12th and 13th to report Jin's fan concert tour. This is the first time that five newspapers have highlighted a Korean solo artist on the front page at the same time.
At the convenience store near Kyocera Dome Osaka, where the fan concert tour '#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR in JAPAN' was held from the 12th to the 13th, fans continued to seek a special edition. In some stores, newspapers were sold out early.
Local media introduced the performance as a festival made by singers and fans and a venue that shows the deep bond between Jin and ARMY. In addition to the behind-the-scenes of the tour, he focused on the aspect of a solo artist by dealing with the production process of his second mini-album 'Echo', which was released in May.
Jin successfully completed his Japan fan concert tour amid keen interest. The performance was held four times in Chiba and Osaka, and all seats were sold out in the previous round. Jin drew about 130,000 viewers in Japan alone.
He said in Osaka's performance, "I exist because I'm Ami." Thank you all for coming together and enjoying it."
Starting with a performance in Goyang in June, Jin is continuing his fan concert tour '#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR'. From the 17th to the 18th, the North American fan concert tour will be held at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. Afterwards, he will meet with audiences in Dallas, Tampa, Newark, London, England, and Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
