BTS V Urges Fans to Respect Airport Safety

V recently told fan community Weverse Live "Airport is not ours. I ask ARMY (official fandom name) to keep safe. It emphasized that the airport is not a space for both fans and singers, but a public space used by the public and travelers.
V continued "I can't say 'I'll be back safely' like before. Didn't ARMY do purple lines in the past?" But these days, it seems like it's gone."
V's reference to 'Purpline' is an airport safety campaign launched voluntarily by fans in 2018. It was an activity to secure the safe movement of the members by making a line with purple ribbons, the symbol of BTS. The purpose was to help fans voluntarily form an orderly barricade to prevent crowding and move safely.
At that time, V thanked his fans after a photo taken with a ribbon used for the purple line was released during a photo shoot. In recent years, however, the campaign has naturally disappeared.
V came clean about the current situation. He said "No matter how pretty I dress, I can't take pictures. I want to do a pretty pose, too, but I can't because of safety issues. "If ARMYs keep them safe, I think I can think about what to wear in the morning for 10 more minutes. I have to go in quickly anyway now, so I think 'I'll just wear it and go'
"If ARMYs make purple lines again, I'll wear suits," he added tactfully.
Recently, whenever celebrities leave the country, fans flock to the country, raising safety concerns. Due to the unreasonable approach of some fans, excessive mobilization of security personnel has led to physical contact incidents or obstruction of the movement of ordinary passengers. In order to solve this problem, the need to establish a celebrity-only door has been raised, but it has not been realized due to controversy over preferential treatment.
Meanwhile, V has started preparing for the album with the aim of making a comeback as a whole BTS with the discharged members. As all members have completed their service, fans around the world are looking forward to the resumption of BTS's activities.
