Malcolm-Jamal Warner, who was loved for playing the role of Theo in the sitcom The Cosby Show, which was very popular in the United States and Korea in the 1980s and 1990s, has died at the age of 54.

Police in Costa Rica officially announced on the 21st that Malcolm-Jamal Warner drowned in a rip current while swimming on the Caribbean coast of Cochles Beach on the afternoon of the 20th (local time).

Malcolm-Jamal Warner was on vacation with his family at the time and was rescued from the water by people at the scene shortly after the accident, but was already dead when emergency services arrived, authorities said.




Malcolm - Jamal Warner appeared as the son of the main character Bill Cosby in the sitcom 'Theo Huckstable', which aired on NBC from 1984 to 1992.
