Han Kyung-sun died on July 4, 2015 at the age of 53 after falling unconscious while undergoing treatment.
On June 19 of the same year, Han Kyung-sun visited the hospital after feeling ill on her way home from filming the MBC drama The Great Cho Gang-ji, and was diagnosed with cerebral hemorrhage. Since then, he has been recovering without any surgery, but he collapsed again after eating with the staff after filming on the 30th of the same month, and ended his life on July 4 without recovering consciousness.
