Actor Park Kyu-young (32) apologized for posting decisive spoilers at the time of the release of Squid Game 2.

Park Kyu-young met with Sports Chosun at a cafe in Jongno-gu, Seoul on the morning of the 2nd and interviewed Netflix's original series 'Squid Game 3' (written and directed by Hwang Dong-hyuk). Before the interview, Park Kyu-young said, `I think you must have been very disappointed that I have shown you a bad side of me over the past few months, but I think it will be a place to see and tell you the questions and stories that I have avoided in the work.'

Park Kyu-young was embroiled in a controversy over spoilers when she posted a photo of Lee Jin-wook dressed in pink guard clothes on her personal account during the release of Squid Game 2. Park Kyu-young's release of the photo even led to disappointment that the main narrative of season 3 was released. Park Kyu-young said, `I think I've been disappointed by some spoiler issue on SNS. I was asked that question at the production presentation, but I think there are some parts that I couldn't answer properly at that time, so I hope I can borrow this opportunity to explain it to you."

Park Kyu-young then immediately contacted the production team, the director, and (Lee) Jin-wook to say sorry, and the director also said, `Let's not make such a mistake again.' Jin-wook also said that he was really okay, but in fact, even though I was forgiven, I think I had a long time to think about how responsible I have been for my work and reflect on myself for a long time."

Park Kyu-young also responded to Lee Jin-wook's reaction by jokingly saying, `I contacted my senior right after I had something to do, and he thanked me because he seemed to have received attention. I was sorry and grateful for that. I was ashamed and grateful to see that you worked hard to comfort me at the production presentation."

Park also apologized to viewers, saying, `I just want to say it without excuse. After season 2, you must have expected a lot about season 3, and I think you must have guessed about that part (Lee Jin-wook's survival and development). I would like to say that I am sorry for that without an excuse. I blamed myself a lot, but rather than that, I felt more guilty about the director who made the story line and the production team who made it well.

When asked about the existence of Netflix's huge penalty, Park Kyu-young also said "It is difficult to elaborate on the contract details, but rather than the penalty, let's not let this happen again from now on." Although there was a preliminary guide to be careful about such exposure to the filming site and in that respect, I would like to carefully tell you that there was no talk of a penalty. "
