Actor Noh Jae-won (32) mentioned his relationship with Choi Seung-hyun.

Roh Jae-won met with Sports Chosun at a cafe in Jongno-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of the 9th and interviewed Netflix's original series 'Squid Game 3' (played by Hwang Dong-hyuk, directed by Hwang). Noh Jae-won said, `I prepared for the acting with all my heart throughout the filming. In fact, when the last shooting was over, the emptiness came to my mind as if there was a hole this big, and I was excited to see such a work open, and I think it was the biggest change in my life. I am very grateful. It's like a dream, and I wonder when this will happen again."

Noh Jae-won then said "My father is proud. You've seen a lot of my work, and among them, it's the most interesting work you've seen. In the family group chat room 'Jae Won-ah Hwang Dong-hyuk is Steven Spielberg of Korea. I saw your acting well, too. He said, "I'm worried if there's a male in you."I pulled out the things in me and acted. It's not violent or anything like that, but I think I started with the desire to get the hard work or attention of Nam Kyu and to be loved."

Noh Jae-won also said, `I auditioned with a common line, not as Nam-gyu. I was asked to do free acting and various things, but I didn't expect much. I thought it would be one of the 456 people, even if it did, and I only thought it would be a minor role. I didn't expect to take on a good role.'"I'm happy, but I had a lot of worries. I was nervous and burdened, so I couldn't be happy because the first thing I thought about was how to overcome it and prepare for acting. 'How do I act? There was also a big thought of ' There was a lot of swearing, and if I did something wrong, I didn't want to act as a person who was next to Thanos. I think I thought a lot about how I could do that well because I wanted to play Nam-gyu with a reason.

Noh Jae-won then said "It was difficult to appeal to all of my greed because there were many people. In the director's words, 'Nam-gyu's change is important', and at first, he was a character named Nam-gyu next to Thanos, but after Thanos' death, Nam-gyu's performance would be good, so try to endure it. You're trying to run wild. They coordinated a lot of things. I didn't like myself being so nervous and intimidated, so I tried to do anything with spirit and momentum somehow. When I think about it, I thought, "Looking at the whole work and coordinating it myself would be an experience, that I still lacked that kind of thing."

In the play, Nam-gyu drew attention as he even did a perfect impersonation of Thanos (Choi Seung-hyun). Noh Jae-won said "The original script did not say that he was impersonating Thanos. However, if you read the script carefully, Nam-gyu suddenly starts to write English, too. In fact, there was a line like 'You Can Do It', and among the lines 'Let's go kill half the earth's people' seemed to describe Thanos, so of course I thought it would be better to copy Thanos naturally. So I did it during the rehearsal, and the director said, 'What did you do. Did you copy Thanos. It's fun, so let's save it. Since then, the director has saved what he copied Thanos."

Roh Jae-won also recalled Choi Seung-hyun's reaction and said 'Why are you cursing me so much?' rather than copying him. He also said, 'What did I do wrong to Nam-gyu?' I only like Minsu, and I mean I hated Thanos for ignoring him," he said with a smile.

Roh Jae-won confessed that he was a fan of Big Bang and Choi Seung-hyun, which helped a lot. In the drama, I followed along thinking that he was a famous rapper. There was something helpful at the point of connection. But in reality, I tried not to look at Big Bang as much as possible, and I don't think I could show my fans openly"I wanted to tell you how much my brother cared for me in the field as well. I have a lot to be thankful for. It was like Thanos character and Seung-hyun that made me do Nam-gyu. I was so grateful that he really looked at me as a male and said 'Nam-su, Nam-su' whenever I saw him on the spot. I helped him act."

He also mentioned Choi Seung-hyun's acting that he watched from the side. Noh Jae-won said, `I think there was a pressure from the early shooting and that he was acting in front of 456 people. However, while filming, it was stimulating to see him do his best like a person who risked his life to act, and even though he was usually friendly, I looked at Thanos by saying 'I'm Nam Kyu'. At the same time, he often relied on (Lee)David and (Won) Jian. They are similar in age, so I think I talked to them when I was having a hard time or when I had a problem." He also said he was sorry for the controversy over Choi Seung-hyun's acting skills after the release, saying, `The brother really loved the role. I have nothing to say. It's the freedom of those who see it, and many people see it well.'

'Squid Game 3' tells the story of Ki-hoon (Lee Jung-jae), who lost his best friend in a game that he participated again with his own purpose, the frontman (Lee Byung-hun), who hid himself in the game, and the final fate of the participants who survived the cruel game. According to Netflix's Top 10 To Doom website (Netflix Tudum) on the 9th, Season 3 of Squid Game recorded about 46.3 million (46,300,000) viewers from June 30 to July 6, topping all 93 countries for two consecutive weeks.
