It was belatedly known that Jang Won-sam, a former professional baseball player who voluntarily dropped out of JTBC 'strongest baseball' due to a drunk driving accident, was fined.

According to the legal community on the 7th, the Busan District Court issued a summary order of 7 million won to Jang Won-sam on charges of violating the Special Act on the Handling of Traffic Accidents and violating the Road Traffic Act. The order was issued on March 6 and confirmed on the 21st of the same month.

According to the indictment, Jang Won-sam hit the front bumper of a Mercedes-Benz vehicle that was stopping while driving a BMW vehicle on the road in front of the main gate of an apartment building in Suyeong-gu, Busan, at around 1:20 p.m. on August 17 last year. Immediately after the accident, Jang Won-sam lowered his head, saying, `I caused an accident while driving drunk.' `I admit my mistake and am deeply reflecting on it.' He said on social media, `I left my car behind and came home, but the next day, I took the wheel complacently"I explained the situation.
