On the 16th, Song's trial in the PICA case was held at the Seoul Southern District Court. On this day, Park Gyu-ri appeared as a witness and was interrogated for about three hours.
Park Gyu-ri said "In early 2020, the PICA project was launched based on the gallery business. It was when I didn't have a lot of work as a celebrity. I started working because I liked art, believing that it was a normal art exhibition and joint purchasing business."
Park Gyu-ri worked as a curator and public relations officer for the Pika Project for a year. He planned and participated in exhibitions such as Cho Young-nam and Lim Ha-ryong, received a salary of about 40.67 million won, and signed contracts related to the use of promotional portrait rights. Since then, as Song started the Pikacoin business, Park Gyu-ri has been listed as the Chief Public Relations Officer (CCO) and Advisor of PICA.

In particular, Park Kyu-ri emphasized that "60 million won was invested in PICA token by selling Bitcoin in April 2021, but the coin was delisted in two months and lost all of it."
Park Gyu-ri debuted as a child actor in 1995 and has been a member of Kara since 2007 and has been loved for hits such as 'Mr.'Lupin'Jumping'. He has been in an open relationship with Song since 2019, but broke up in 2021.
Since then, Song has been indicted on charges of violating (fraud) the Act on Aggravated Punishment for Specific Economic Crimes in July 2023 and violating the Capital Markets Act. Song is accused of recruiting investors to invest in unsecured art, manipulating the market price of PICA coin, a virtual asset, and siphoning off about 33.9 billion won with his brother.
In the aftermath, Park Gyu-ri was investigated as a reference to the prosecution. At the time, Kyu-ri Park clarified that he did not participate in illegal activities and did not acquire any unfair gains in relation to the coin business during the reference statement" he said.
