In 2015, Kim Kwang-han collapsed from a heart attack on July 6 and was taken to a hospital.

From 1982 to 1994, he hosted KBS 2FM 'Kim Kwang-han's Pops Dial' and gained fame with Lee Jong-hwan and Kim Ki-duk '3rd DJ'.
