Former marathoner Lee Bong-joo recalled the time of fighting the disease 'Muscular Tension Abnormalities'.

On the 21st, TVn 'Uquiz' side released a pre-released video titled 「Jae-seok's naughty rival, Lee Bong-ju! From Bong-ju's international competition scale wedding to a miracle story of overcoming an incurable disease」.

In the video, Lee Bong-ju appeared in the costume he wore during his appearance on MBC 'Infinite Challenge', pleasing MC Yoo Jae-suk.




When MC Cho Se-ho asked "Who did you think was your rival during the time of bad friend\?", Lee Bong-joo carefully pointed at Yoo Jae-seok and made him laugh.

Lee Bong-joo, who has been battling muscle tension for the past four years, looked back on the hard times. During the broadcast, he bent his back and neck with sudden pain, saying, `The stomach shrank and unfolded regardless of my will. I feel like I've been to hell for four years."

Lee Bong-ju's wife, who was in the studio together, said "More and more, her husband was strangled. I did nerve block surgery and got Botox on my stomach. It got worse after the surgery and said, 'Now let's treat it.'" Lee Bong-ju then said, "From one day, I was able to sleep well and walk little by little," he said.




Meanwhile, Lee Bong-ju was diagnosed with a rare disease called muscular tautism in 2020, but recently returned to health.
