'Edited Records / Edited Records' begins with summoning scenes, words, images, and fragments of emotions collected in their own way by two creators who have worked in different genres. Records collected in this way acquire new layers of senses by reconstructing through 'editing' rather than just listing, and explore the traces of time, identity, and existence that art asks today.
In particular, the exhibition is drawing attention as it shows actor Lee Hee-joon's challenge as a multi-layered creator. Having performed intensely in a wide range of genres through the Netflix series 'Villain'KillerO Difficulty', the latest 'Nine Puzzle' and the film 'GyuleGyule', he has also demonstrated his potential as a director with sensuous directing in the film 'Rectangular, Triangular' which he wrote and directed. The exhibition, which continues from acting and directing to art work, shows how far Lee Hee-jun's creative spectrum can be extended.
In this exhibition, Lee Hee-jun attempts a new point as an artist by visualizing the narrative based on the sense accumulated as an actor, scene interpretation, and perspective as a creator, beyond just participants. His journey across stages, screens, and galleries proves that art can be organically expanded without being trapped in a specific genre.
Meanwhile, the exhibition, in which Lee Hee-jun participates as an artist, will be held at the Hoad Gallery from the 4th to August 6th.
