Park Ji-yeon is about to undergo a reoperation to receive a kidney transplant from her brother this month. It is currently undergoing a preoperative examination.

Meanwhile, Park Ji-yeon, who married Lee Soo-geun in 2008, had kidney function problems due to pregnancy poisoning when her second son was pregnant in 2011.
As a result, he received a kidney transplant from his mother's father, but the transplanted kidney has not settled properly and has been receiving dialysis treatment so far.
In 2021, he was recommended by medical staff to re-transmit and was listed as a waiting list for brain-dead people.
