MC Mong Announces Overseas Move Amid Struggles with Depression

MC Mong posted a lengthy post on the official fan cafe 'Monkids' on the 17th. He said "In the meantime, it has been difficult to do music due to extremely severe depression, one surgery, and poor health. There is no need to focus on stories that are circulating like rumors. I'm going to choose a way that I can do music longer""I decided to study abroad for my health and my own development, leaving everything to Chairman Cha Cha-won for the work of BPM Producers other than Won Hundred, whom I love." I am very late, but I desperately want to be healthier to develop further. We are preparing and releasing an album this year."
He then said "I think it's my last desire to study music and concentrate on studying language. I was so happy about the dreamy producers and producers and I still love and support them. Rather, I was worried that I would cover their light, and I was always struggling because it was like a burden to their fans. They will shine more and hope that with more generous support, they will become more wonderful artists with their fans. Meanwhile, MC Mong was indicted on charges of intentionally removing teeth for military exemption. Later in 2012, he was acquitted of the allegations, but was sentenced to six months in prison, one year of probation, and 120 hours of community service for delaying his enlistment by taking the civil service examination.
After stopping his broadcasting activities, he co-founded the label One Hundred and has been working as a producer.
