Marking the 80th anniversary of Korea's liberation in 2025, KBS will hold a solo concert of 『KBS Grand Planning for the 80th Anniversary of Liberation』 - Cho Yong-pil』 forever.
KBS's grand project is a large-scale project that KBS has been carrying out for the people every year to mark the Chuseok holiday, and legends representing the times have embroidered a large-scale stage for more than two hours. Finally, Cho Yong-pil's stage, which is considered one of the most wanted to see by the Korean people in 2025, is already drawing keen attention. For the main stage, KBS has reportedly been knocking on Cho Yong-pil's door for years and yearning for the success of the stage through Samgo Chorye.
In particular, the upcoming 'Cho Yong-pil' is special in that it is the first solo stage in 28 years by Cho Yong-pil, a legend that encompasses all generations in Korea, since the 1997 'Big Show' at KBS. Cho Yong-pil, who marks his 57th anniversary this year, is expected to be a large stage that will never be seen again, making it even more special. Cho Yong-pil is a living legend in the Korean music industry who holds numerous records and does not need words, including the first single-album million seller in Korea, the first to surpass 10 million cumulative record sales in Korea, the first to win the Japanese Golden Disc Award as a Korean, the first sold-out concert at Jamsil Main Stadium, and the record of Choi Da-k's music textbook among Korean popular singers.
In response, KBS said, "'Legend, Cho Yong-pil's solo stage has finally been confirmed, covering all generations of the Republic of Korea 'Legend, Cho Yong-pil' will be held for free at Gocheok Sky Dome on September 6th, and will be broadcast on KBS2 during the Chuseok holiday.
