Both season 2 and season 3 of Netflix's original series 'Squid Game', which each put into a pledge to become the second Jung Ho-yeon, have been released. Female actors would have wanted to follow in the footsteps of Jung Ho-yeon, who became a global actor after gaining global popularity, but unfortunately, the second Jung Ho-yeon has not been born. In the case of Park Kyu-young, there may be a shield of the poor narrative, but in the case of Cho Yu-ri, who appeared as the 222nd contestant and was an executive who bonded with all the characters in the game and won the child after giving birth to a child, she is not free from lack of skills, career, and charm.
'Squid Game' is a representative K-content and the most successful series in the world. It broke this record by releasing season 2 and season 3, and proved its all-time box office success with Netflix's first film, which topped all countries in its first week of release. Of course, what is expected in this process is the global attention of actors. Shim Ji-wan has already received global attention and completely absorbed the masterpiece as his character, and viewers' reactions are also explosive. Despite playing an unfavorable role as a villain, which shows the height of boredom, Shim showed off her control over the screen by showing a truly crazy performance. In addition, Park Sung-hoon, who died at the hands of Myung-ki after a short appearance, played his role properly and was well received.
However, there was a character whose narrative was focused on this season. No. 222 Jun-hee, who participated in the game with the body of a pregnant woman, is the main character. In the play, he gave birth, formed a bond with Geum-ja (Kang Ae-sim), and appeared as a character who was helped by Ki-hoon (Lee Jung-jae), the main character. In addition, Myeong-gi and the setting of being the parents of children were given, and it was expected to be a good character who could express multi-layered emotions. However, Cho Yu-ri's performance in the released work was enough to hear a disappointing voice first rather than a compliment. There was no facial expression because he blew away the scene of childbirth, which could be the highlight of the play, and even when Hyun-joo died in front of her, she reduced the immersion of the play with a dry expression that could not feel fear or anger. Even when he had to play the game with a physical handicap, he was constantly worried about whether he was sick, sad, or afraid, and even when he decided his own end, he was praised for completing a vertical fall toward the floor with an expressionless face.

Before participating in 'Squid Game', Cho Yu-ri seems to have started with the expectation that she could become the second Jung Ho-yeon, but unfortunately, she left only a small presence that was less than one word and one scene of the dawn that appeared for only 20 seconds in the fifth inning. After the end of season 1, interest in the character Dawn, played by Jung Ho-yeon, exploded, and this response instantly elevated Jung from a global model to a global actor. Jung Ho-yeon received worldwide love for playing the heartbreaking character Dawn in season 1 and has also been reborn as a global star who absorbs Hollywood's love calls. He won the Best Actress Award in a TV Drama Series at the SAG Awards presented by the American Actors Guild (SAG), and took his first step in Hollywood through his work on 'Disclaimer' with director Alfonso Kuhr.
As such, 'Squid Game' is a world-class series that can be an opportunity for a good new actor, but regret is added to Jo Yu-ri, who blew away the character who was given the narrative with insufficient acting skills.
