Ha Jung-sook, Shin-gu's wife, passed away on the 2nd. He was 87.
The mortuary of the deceased was set up in Room 30 of the funeral hall of Asan Medical Center in Seoul. Shingu is guarding the mortuary with his son and his wife named in Sangju under his real name. The coffin is set at 5:20 a.m. on the 4th, and the burial site is Gwangneung Memorial Park.
Shingu married his wife, who was five years younger, in 1974 and has a son. In the past, Shin-gu appeared on KBS2 entertainment program 『Happy Together 3" and dated his wife for 6 years and married her. I met him by introduction, but I followed him around because I fell in love with him," he said, expressing extraordinary affection.
Meanwhile, Shin-gu was diagnosed with heart failure in 2023 and wore an artificial pacemaker. In the recently released film 'High Five', he played Young Chun, a pseudo-relative, and played a two-person role with actor Park Jin-young. The play `Waiting for Godot' is currently on a tour of nine cities across the country.
