'Pine: The Villagers' is a 1977 film about the deceitful story of the villagers surrounding an underwater treasure ship. The pleasant energy of the livelihood characters, the unexpected development, and the retro production utilizing the sentiment of the times are combined to gain sympathy from a wide range of age groups. Two films will be released sequentially every week amid the diversification of the relationship between the characters due to the enthusiastic performances of Oh Kwan-seok (Ryu Seung-ryong) and actors such as Professor Kim (Kim Eui-sung) and Yang Jung-sook (Im Soo-jung).
Broadcasting on JTBC's Friday series "Good Man" is an emotional noir centered on the reunion and conflict between Park Seok-cheol (Lee Dong-wook), the eldest son of the three major thugs family, and Kang Mi-young (Lee Sung-kyung), who dreams of becoming a singer. Director Song Hae-sung and Park Hong-soo co-directed it, and the script written by writers Kim Woon-kyung and Kim Hyo-seok exquisitely woven heavy emotional lines and mysteries to increase immersion. In particular, the actors' delicate acting and solid narratives continue to spread through word of mouth.
The response from overseas is also hot. 'Good Guy' has an 8.8 rating on IMDb, a global content review platform, and viewers continue to appreciate the emotional sympathy and the combination of actors, such as "Perfection of nostalgia and immersion as if watching K-dramas in the 2016-2018s", "Lee Dong-wook's combination with Lee Sung-kyung is always believed and viewed".
SLL's sophisticated target strategy is the reason why two works with different genres and connections received good responses side by side. 'Fine: Mountaineers' captivates viewers through pleasant and event-oriented narratives, and 'Good Guy' focuses on serious sensibilities based on the actors' passionate performances to target the emotions of adult viewers.
A representative for SLL said "Fine: The 'Nice Men' and " are all different genres, but they are all works that focus on people's and emotional narratives", adding, "We will continue to present works that reflect audience and platform characteristics and expand SLL's unique content lineup." he said.
