Two women who threatened Tzuyang to rip off 200 million won in the end...each sentenced to one year in prison

Prosecutors demanded one year in prison for two women who were handed over to trial for extorting money and valuables worth 200 million won by threatening YouTuber Tzuyang (real name Park Jung-won).

At the final hearing held at the Seoul Central District Court on the 18th, a woman in her 30s and a woman in her 20s were tried on charges of joint blackmail under the Act on Punishment, including Violence.

They are accused of threatening Tzuyang from June 2021 to November 2022 and receiving a total of 216 million won through his YouTube channel PD.

The prosecution considered that although the amount of extortion was large and the method of crime was serious, the defendants confessed and reflected on the crime, and agreed smoothly with the victim"They both demanded a year in prison.

The Defendant was not guilty because he/she knew that the amount of extortion was paid by the representative of the former agency at the time"I deeply apologized to the victim, did my best to recover the damage, and it was confirmed that I did not want criminal punishment."

Tzuyang previously revealed the whole story of the incident on YouTube in July last year. He confessed, "'Let's shut up with my money' referring to the threat of the former agency's representative and his lover at the time."

In fact, Tzuyang transferred a total of 200 million won to the two women, 6 million won per month for a year and a half.

Meanwhile, sentencing for the two defendants is scheduled to be made on August 20.
