Films produced by CineCube, an art movie theater run by Taekwang Group's media affiliate T-Cast, have been officially invited to the 30th Busan International Film Festival 'Today of Korean Film - Panorama' to mark the 25th anniversary of its opening. The film will be shown to domestic audiences for the first time during the Busan International Film Festival from Sept. 17-26.

As part of the CineCube 25th anniversary project, "Theaters' Hours" was created to shed new light on the space of the theater and the meaning of art films. It is a work in the form of an anthology composed of two short stories, directed by Lee Jong-pil's 'Chimpanji' and directed by Yoon Ga-eun 'Naturally'. Each short explores the essential experiences of watching movies and making movies through the stories of characters mediated by theaters.

The first episode 'Chimpanzee' tells the story of three movie buffs who accidentally meet in Gwanghwamun in 2000 and fall in love with the mysterious chimpanzee story. It is directed by Lee Jong-pil of the "Departure" and "Samjin Group English Toy Class", and stars actors Kim Dae-myung, Wonstein, Lee Soo-kyung, and Hong Sabin. The second episode 'Naturally' tells the story of children actors and directors struggling for 'Naturally Acting' on the set of the film, directed by Yoon Ga-eun of 'Us'"Our House' and directed by actor Go Ah-sung.

The 'Today of Korean Film - Panorama' section is an official section that introduces the major Korean films and serves as a window to show the flow and achievements of contemporary Korean films. Through this invitation, CineCube reflects the cultural assets and social values it has accumulated as an art theater for 25 years and attempts to expand the possibility of art theaters through collaboration with young creators.

Opened in 2000, CineCube is the longest-standing art theater in Korea and has contributed to the qualitative growth and diversity of Korean film culture over the past 25 years. Since 2010, T-Cast, which runs CineCube, has imported and introduced high-quality art films such as 'That's How You Become a Father', 'A Family', and 'Perfect Days' to Korean audiences. 'Theatrical Times' is T-Cast's first production.

The Hours of Theater is scheduled to be released in theaters in the first half of next year after the screening of the Busan International Film Festival. During the festival, additional programs such as GV (Conversation with Audience) and stage greetings will also be held, in which directors and cast members participate.

"This project, which was planned to celebrate the 25th anniversary of CineCube, is meaningful to meet with the audience for the first time at the Busan International Film Festival," said Park Ji-ye, head of CineCube Team, T-cast. "We plan to continue various projects to connect creators and audiences by further expanding the role of art theaters in the future."
