8.4 Billion Hacks Right After BTS Jungkook Enters Military...The main culprit has been caught in the end

The fact that Jungkook of the group BTS (BTS) was exposed to a large amount of financial hacking crimes immediately after joining the army is drawing attention again. This is because the main culprit of the crime was caught abroad and forcibly repatriated to Korea.

The Ministry of Justice said it repatriated A (34), the head of a hacking criminal organization, to Incheon International Airport in Bangkok, Thailand, early on the 22nd.

A is accused of stealing a total of 38 billion won by hacking the website of a mobile carrier last year and stealing personal information of local wealthy people and celebrities.

The list of victims also included BTS Jungkook. In January last year, shortly after joining the army, Jungkook suffered an incident in which 33,500 Hive shares worth about 8.4 billion won were illegally transferred due to the theft of his name.

Fortunately, the agency immediately suspended payment to prevent substantial losses, but fans responded "I'm shocked that I became a target even while serving in the military."

The Ministry of Justice obtained information on A's entry into Thailand through Interpol cooperation with the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency and succeeded in repatriating him about four months after requesting an emergency extradition arrest.

An official said, `We will track down and punish overseas hacking and voice phishing crimes to the end" he said.
