Yoo Seung-joon also won the third lawsuit banning entry to avoid military service

Singer-turned-singer Yoo Seung-joon also won the third lawsuit.

On the 28th, a first trial hearing was held at the Seoul Administrative Court to confirm the absence of the entry ban decision filed by Yoo Seung-joon against the Ministry of Justice and the Consulate General of Los Angeles.

On this day, the court ruled to cancel the refusal to issue a visa.

Yoo Seung-joon was banned from entering Korea in 2002, saying he would return from an overseas performance before joining the military, giving up his Korean citizenship and obtaining U.S. citizenship. Yoo Seung-joon applied for an overseas Korean visa (F-4) in 2015, but the Consulate General of LA refused to issue a visa. Yoo Seung-joon won both lawsuits to cancel the denial of visa issuance, but the Consulate General of LA refused to issue a visa last year.

In response, Yoo Seung-joon once again filed a lawsuit against the Consulate General of LA and the Ministry of Justice last year.
