'80s Seoul Music Awards' is a special format consisting of only music in the 1980s, reproducing the emotions of the time from participation conditions to stage composition, stimulating viewers' nostalgia.
Participants drew attention by appearing as nicknames reminiscent of the 1980s, such as Dong-A Planning, Jongno Bookstore, Hoop Boy, Midopa Department Store, and Pimatgol.
On this day, Yoo Jae-seok introduced the concept of time travel from 2025 to the 1980s with Ha-ha, Joo Woo-jae, and Lee Yi-kyung to prepare for a meeting with successful applicants.
First of all, the stages of the Duke Shopping Center, Dong-A Planning, and Jongno Books were prepared.
The three selected Cho Deok-bae's 'If You Come to My Heart' to set the stage. However, Park Myung-soo, a craftsman, made people laugh by boasting his unique voice.
Finally, the identity was revealed, Park Myung-soo at the Duke Shopping Center, Ha Dong-gyun at the Dong-A Planning Center, and Woods at the Dong-A Planning Center.
Woods said "It's been about 24 days since I was discharged. I filmed a preliminary video the day after I was discharged from the military," he said, drawing laughter.

On the second stage, Namsan Tower, Suwongyo Bridge, and Paradise Shopping Center selected Cho Yong-pil's 'Friend' to perform on the stage.
The identity of Namsan Tower was actor Park Young-gyu, the diver bridge was Choi Jeong-hoon of Jannabi, and the Paradise Shopping Center was revealed as musical actor Jung Sung-hwa, which surprised everyone.
Yoo Jae-suk introduced Choi Jung-hoon, saying, `He is a perfect fit for our K-pop festival,' while Yoo Jae-suk said, `He appeared on MSG, too.'
Choi Jung-hoon "I sang too much at the time. This time, I practiced with a song that stimulates emotions. When I called my friend, I thought it'd be nice if the three of us were in the same team" he said.
The next stage featured Midopa Department Store, Sangbong Terminal, and New York Confectionery, selecting Lee Ji-yeon's 'I don't know love yet'.

"It was hard to choose, but there were a lot of singers that mothers liked," Liz explained.
Yoo Jae-seok revealed that `Liz was doing a live show with her fans and said, `I said 'New York Confectionery Shijo' and she said no.' In the video, Liz laughed awkwardly by telling her fans `I like to play, but I haven't seen her lately because of the time difference.'
The next stage was Olympic Boulevard, and the 3rd Hangang Bridge, Marronnier Park selected Shinchon Blues' 'Disappointment'.

Finally, Sundol-i, Hoop Boy, and Pimatgol prepared 'Watercolor on a rainy day' and took the stage.
The identities of 15 successful candidates were revealed, with Sundol identifying as rapper DinDin, Hoop Boy identifying as actor Lee Joon-young, and Pimatgol identifying as Yoon Do-hyun.
Yoon Do-hyun said "I got to participate by a good opportunity" and Yoo Jae-seok made a funny scene by revealing the behind-the-scenes footage "Yoon Do-hyun said he practiced too loudly in the hallway."
