Jennie Sets K-Pop Solo Record with 3 RIAA Certifications

The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) announced on its official website that Jenny's single 'Mantra'(Mantra) and the title song 'Like JENNIE'(Like Jenny) have been certified gold.
As a result, Jenny was certified by RIAA for a total of three songs, setting the record for the largest RIAA certification among K-pop solo artists. Jenny previously won platinum certification with her collaboration song 'One Of The Girls' with The Weeknd and Lily Rose Depp.
Jenny marked a new milestone in K-pop history with her first solo studio album 'Ruby', released in March. It recorded the highest initial sales (661,130 copies) among K-pop female solo artists this year with 'Ruby', and made it into the Billboard main singles chart 'HOT 100'Like JENNIE', 'Mantra', 'Love Hangover (feat. Dominic Fike)', 'ExtraL (feat. Doechii)', 'Handlebars (feat. Dua Lipa)'.
RIAA awards certifications by dividing them into gold (over 500,000 units), platinum (over 1 million units), multi-platinum (over 2 million units), and diamond (over 10 million units), depending on digital single and album sales. Unit aggregation is a method of weighting album (real/digital) sales, digital download, audio and video streaming, etc.
