Lee Eon, the first coffee prince, celebrated the 17th anniversary of the motorcycle accident today (21st)



It's been 17 years since the late actor Ian passed away.

In the early morning of August 21, 2008, Ian died of a motorcycle accident on his way home from the end of the KBS drama `Choi Kang Chil-woo.' He was 27 years old.

At that time, while changing lanes at Hannam Intersection, he hit a guardrail and died at the scene. The sudden sad news shocked fans as well as fellow actors and officials who were with them.




During his lifetime, Ian was a former gold medalist in wrestling at the 1997 National Sports Festival, and since 2000, he has turned into a model and entered the entertainment industry.

Since then, he has drawn attention with the movie Madonna' (2006), and in the drama 'Coffee Prince's 1st Shop' (2007), he has built a public profile by playing Hwang Min-yeop, working with Gong Yoo, Yoon Eun-hye, and Kim Jae-wook.

He then sadly passed away while expanding his potential as an actor by appearing in various works such as KBS 2TV 'Drama City - A Non-Communist Exhibition' and MBC 'Who Are You'.




His short acting life left a deep regret for his colleagues.

Gong Yoo, who appeared in the MBC documentary complex 'Dasumul-Coffee Prince 1st Shop' that aired in 2020, was "a very manly friend." It's a pity that I couldn't show you even though I could have shown more."
