Park Ji-yeon received a kidney transplant from her mother's father due to abnormal kidney function due to pregnancy poisoning during her second son's pregnancy in 2011.




However, the transplanted kidney was not properly positioned and has been treated for dialysis until now, and was listed on the waiting list for brain-dead patients for re-transplantation in 2021.

After that, his brother will be a kidney donor, and Park Ji-yeon will undergo kidney re-transplantation in mid-August.
