On the 80th anniversary of Liberation Day, Sean, a member of the hip-hop duo Jinusean, completed an 81.5-km marathon and even performed on the stage, certifying the steel stamina.

On August 15, Sean completed 81.5km in the heat in 7 hours, 50 minutes and 22 seconds at the '2025 815 Run' event hosted with Habitat Korea to mark the 80th anniversary of Liberation Day.

On this day, Sean drew attention by sharing a video of the last moment of the marathon through his personal account. In the video, Sean floats on the floor as soon as he arrives at the finish line with the Korean national flag.

With the help of others, Sean got up again and promised a 'walking (walking + jumping)' challenge to share the meaning of liberation with more citizens, and ran a total of 89.65 kilometers on the day through the additional 8.15 kilometers of running. He said "It's not over until it's over. He marked the end of the marathon with the message "81.5km + 8.15km"

After finishing the marathon, Sean also took to the stage of a special concert and exuded explosive energy. The audience cheered at the sight of Sean taking control of the stage while singing the hit song "'Oppa Cha', and Ga-hee from the group After School who watched it said, "No, brother... Are you sure you ran 81.5km. I'll be on the stage next time, too. He couldn't hide his surprise. Sean responded by saying, `Let's perform together next time,' creating a warm atmosphere.

In this '815 Run', 19,450 individual participants were recruited in 24 days, the highest number ever, and 4,000 offline participants ran with Sean at Seoul World Cup Park. A total of 2.38 billion won in donations was raised, with a total of 110 sponsoring companies and participants' participation fees added. The donation will be used to improve the residential environment for families of descendants of independence fighters.
