A 15-year-old girl who was a close-knit singer and was found in a D4vd vehicle is suspected of dating in the past

According to NBC NEWS, NEW YORK POST, and E!NEWS on the 18th (local time), the police currently view the incident as a murder case, not a simple disappearance, and are focusing on investigating it.
Police in Los Angeles, California, were dispatched to a tow truck storage center in the Hollywood area on September 8 to find a badly decomposed body in the front trunk of a Tesla vehicle. The vehicle was registered under the name of D4vd, and the body was identified as Celestivas Hernandez, 15, who was reported missing in April 2024.
At the time, the vehicle was reportedly towed after being left on the side of the road for nearly a month, and at the time of discovery, the body was severely damaged in plastic, and the exact time of death was not confirmed due to the severe degree of decomposition. The L.A. County Medical Examiner's Office identified the cause of death as 'pending', and the body was wearing black leggings, tube tops, gold bracelets and metal earrings.
Police are investigating the case as a homicide, and recently executed a search warrant for a luxury home in Hollywood Hills where D4vd allegedly lived. Investigators reportedly tried to secure evidence related to the incident, including digital devices and surveillance images, from the house.
Online circumstances supporting the relationship between D4vd and the deceased are also emerging one after another.
Rumors spread in the fan community in 2023 that D4vd was in a relationship with a minor named 'Selest', further raising suspicions after a track with lyrics featuring 'Selest' was leaked that same year. In the song, he had the lyrics "Oh, Celeste, the woman with my name tattooed on her chest, his scent permeates my clothes like the smell of cigarettes"
Especially on the finger of the deceased, 'Shhh...There was a tattoo called ', which was reportedly the same tattoo D4vd had on his finger. The deceased's mother also told TMZ that her daughter was dating a man named 'David' before she disappeared.
D4vd was currently on a world tour, abruptly canceling its Seattle show on Sept. 17 and putting its future schedule on hold. The agency said "D4vd has been informed of the incident and is currently cooperating fully with the police investigation." Although he has not yet been identified as a suspect, police are continuing their investigation focusing on his track record after the disappearance of the deceased, the contact point with D4vd, and how he was abandoned in the vehicle.
D4vd is from Queens, New York, and grew up in Houston, Texas. He received attention for his debut songs 'Romantic Homicide' and 'Here With Me' and went on a world tour after releasing his full album 'Withed' in April 2025.

E!News reported that "Until just before the incident, D4vd was on a world tour around the U.S. and Europe, and recently continued its activities by producing official theme songs for the popular game 'Fortnite'," he said, adding that the Seattle concert was suddenly canceled on the 17th, shortly after the incident broke out.
So far, D4vd has not made any official remarks other than the position that it is actively cooperating with the police investigation, and the police are expanding their investigation into the details of the death and the direct relationship with D4vd.
Meanwhile, D4vd also has deep ties to Korea. The first concert in Korea was held in December 2023, and the following November, he visited Korea to perform. In May this year, he appeared on the Mnet music program 'M Countdown'. In June, they released 'Always Love' featuring Hyunjin, a member of the idol group 'Stray Kids'.
