The aftermath of the affair was broadcast live, and the female executive was eventually fired

Christine Cabot, the former chief executive officer (CPO) of the U.S. artificial intelligence start-up 'Astronomer', was fired by the company and even divorced.

Earlier, Cabot was caught hugging his boss at the Coldplay concert hall live on a large screen. It became a global meme and spread through social media, and the parties suffered a global disgrace.

The New York Post and NBC reported on the 6th (local time) that Cabot filed for divorce from her husband Andrew Cabot in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, on the 13th of last month, a month after the incident. The first hearing is scheduled to take place in November.

Cabot was spotted by 'kisscam' while with company CEO Andy Byron at the concert hall of global rock band Coldplay in Boston, Massachusetts, in July. At the time, the two were enjoying the performance while wearing touch and back hugs, and when they were seen on camera, they were embarrassed and covered their faces, and allegations of an affair immediately erupted at the scene. As some audiences filmed the scene and released it on social media, the video spread around the world.

Three days after the incident, CEO Byron stepped down, and Cabot also left the company. Astronomer is a startup that has emerged as a 'unicorn company' with a corporate value of more than $1 billion (about 1.4 trillion won) in 2022.

Her husband Andrew Cabot was on a business trip to Japan at the time of the incident and reportedly first learned of his wife's affair after returning home. This is the third divorce for him. Just five months before the scandal broke, Christine and Andrew had a new home worth 2.2 million dollars (about 3.1 billion won).

Ex-wife Julia Cabot reacted cynically in a local media interview. "Andrew wasn't a good husband, but Christine didn't seem to be a wife either," he said. "'It's just that something bad has happened to Andrew this time as well.'

The New York Post reported that Christine and Andrew Cabot did not respond to requests to express their positions in this regard.
