At the '2025 MTV Video Music Awards (hereinafter referred to as MTV VMA)' held at UBS Arena in New York on the 8th, Rosé won the 'Song of the Year' category with her collaboration song 'Apartment' with pop star Bruno Mars.

The MTV VMA is one of the four most prestigious American pop music awards, along with the Grammy Awards, the Billboard Music Awards, and the American Music Awards. Rosé is the first Korean singer to win a major award at the ceremony. The 2021 BTS was nominated for the 'Song of the Year' category, but unfortunately, the award failed.
Rosé was nominated for seven categories, including Video of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Collaboration, Best Pop, Best Direction, Best Art Direction, and Best Visual Effect, for her collaboration with Bruno Mars. He was nominated for the best K-pop category for his first full-length solo album 'Rogie'"Toxic Tildee End".
